English Heritage:

English Heritage is the statutory adviser on the historic environment for the UK Government. The English Heritage exists to protect and promote England's spectacular historic environment and ensure that its past is researched and understood.

English Heritage manages a number of historic parks and public gardens. Most other historic parks and gardens are either privately owned or in trust, and many of these are open to the public. In addition, local authorities are responsible for nearly all the public parks in our towns and cities.

Many English Heritage Properties have extensive beautiful gardens filled with all kinds of rare and unusual plants and wildlife.
